Hilsha with the Green banana recipe:

Ingredients:

1. Hilsa fish- 1 (500gm -except the head and tail)
2.Green Banana- 5 (cut into long slices)
3. Onion Slice – 1 cup
4. Green chili – 5
5. Vegetable oil – 4 tbs
6. Salt – 1 ts or According to your taste
7. Ginger paste – 1/2 ts
8. Garlic paste – 1/2 ts
9. Coriander powder – 1/2 ts
10. Cumin Powder – 1/2 ts
11. Turmeric powder – 1/2 ts
12. Water – 2 cup

Procedure:

1.First, cut the fish into long pieces and wash well. Now take a pan and all the ingredients except the fish and water and mix them well. Now add the fish pieces and mix with the mixture gently. Now add water

2.Now take a pan and put oil into it.Then add the onion slices and stir on a medium flame for about one minute. Now add the fish pieces and mix with the mixture gently. Now add water

3.Now add the other ginger and garlic paste, salt, coriander, cumin and Turmeric powder into it.Add 1/2 cup of water if needed.

4.Now add the fish pieces and green bananas with the mixture gently. Now add the rest of water and cover it with a lid. Now cook the fish on a medium-low heat until the bananas cooked well and the oil becomes separated.Then turn off the burner and serve hot.
